How to change your silkroad account password

1.Log out of the SRO main site.

2.Go to the top right of the website where you normally login.

3.Look right below the login/logout buttons and you will see -
Forget your ID or PW? Click Here - Click this.
It will send you to a page to find your ID if lost and reset your password if you forgot or need to change it.

4. There will be 1 more page for changing your password and you will need to know the answer to your secret question.

5. Use Internet Explorer, not Firefox or other browsers.
This is currently the only way to recover your password and ID effectively and it is a good tip to change your password weekly/monthly.
For passwords make sure to use a complicated mixture of numbers and letters and not a specific word someone would say.
A safe password will prevent user account attacks and we can not recover your account information for you, so make sure your secret question/answer and all your other information is something you will remember and nothing anyone can crack easily.
If you do not know the answer to your secret question, you cannot change your password.
